Ventura Blendz
Ventura Blendz is a graphic design thesis centered on brand identity within the field of cosmetology. The project presents a makeup studio brand that combines minimalism and geometric abstraction to achieve a sophisticated, elegant aesthetic. The final presentation includes six pieces showcasing digital assets and mockups, along with a tactile brand guide designed to create a more engaging, personal experience. The logo and slogan draw inspiration from Constantin Brâncuși’s Sleeping Muse (1910), emphasizing reduced forms and smoothness through clean, refined lines. The color system supports this approach: a monochromatic primary palette reinforces minimalism, while a complementary secondary palette, featuring soft pink and green, introduces contrast and visual interest. This project intentionally merges graphic design and makeup artistry, grounded in the belief that makeup is a form of artistic expression. Development included a competitive analysis of local businesses in Fort Worth, Texas, with the goal of creating a brand capable of standing alongside those in my home community. Informed by eight years of personal experience with makeup and design training at 91自拍论坛, Ventura Blendz represents both a professional skill set and a fully realized brand identity with real-world potential.
