Advertising Communications Courses You May Take

Consumer Behavior: Acquaints the student with consumer behavior models and behavior research techniques.

Marketing Promotion: This course is an overview of the broad field of advertising; creation of primary and selective demand; promotional programs selection; media effectiveness coordination of promotional mix and a selection and determination of advertising.

Desktop Publishing: Focuses on the use of computer technology to set type, design pages, and create camera-ready copy for newsletters, brochure, advertisements, and other publications.

Social Media Campaigns: Students work with clients, demonstrating strategy and techniques for social media tools and use social media platforms to develop integrated media campaigns. Students will apply common processes and practices for building a successful social media campaign for a client and learn how to evaluate and measure the impact and success of audience engagement.
